The contest will begin after the October club meeting and run one month until the November club meeting. See how many states you can work!  Any band\, any mode. No internet\, repeaters\, or reflectors allowed. All Contacts must be Simplex in nature. Official contest log must be used. The official log can be obtained along with rules at the October 15th Club meeting and must be turned in at the November 19th club meeting for recognition. Open to all licensed Amateur operators. Results will be posted on the club web site. Only ARCA active members are eligible for prizes.

DESCRIPTION:The state of Georgia has implemented a stay at home order thru at least April 13th due to the large number of COVID-19 virus cases in Georgia. This order is effective starting Friday April 3rd\, 2020. Based on the travel restrictions in Georgia and the importance of rover operations in the GQP the decision has been made by the GQP leadership to shorten the 2020 QSO Party to a one day event. It will be held on Saturday April 11th\, 2020 from 1600-0400z\, Due to travel restrictions within Georgia mobile operations will not be allowed. Multi-Op operations will only be allowed if remote operation technology is used that will allow social distancing or if the operation takes place from a shared family station.

DESCRIPTION:Free BBQ lunch is a highlight of the 2020 ARCA Fall Swapmeet. Indoor tables for sellers are free on a first-come\, first-served basis. Additional tailgate space and ample parking will be available. Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunch starting at 11 a.m. Location is the former REACT building at 4145 Mack Lane in Augusta. There will be a $1 per ticket raffle for a variety of Amateur Radio items. Anyone with something to donate for the raffle should email information to arca.w4dv@lgmail.com. A silent auction will be conducted for the club’s Mosley Model 33 tri-band Yagi antenna with a starting bid of $100 and minimum $20 incremental bids. This is a on cash and carry basis.
