The ARCA Repeaters Special Event is a special event for the CSRA Summer Sizzler. In order to receive all 100 special event points for the ARCA Repeaters Special Event, you must check into a ARCA Repeaters Special Event Net on each of the five ARCA club repeaters. The ARCA club repeaters are: 145.490, 145.110, 145.290, 147.180, and 444.950. Chris (K4NXA) will be operating a net on the 145.110 MHz repeater during this time for the ARCA Repeaters Special Event.

The Volunteer Examiner Team of Columbia County will be conducting an in-person license examination session for all license classes at the Columbia County EOC on Ronald Reagan Dr in Evans, GA. The testing will start at 0900hrs. The cost is $15. Please bring a photo ID and if upgrading also bring a copy of your current license to submit with your Packet. All participants must wear a mask. ARCA FALL SWAPMEET & PICNIC
Free BBQ lunch is a highlight of the 2020 ARCA Fall Swapmeet. Indoor tables for sellers are free on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional tailgate space and ample parking will be available. Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunch starting at 11 a.m. Location is the former REACT building at 4145 Mack Lane in Augusta. "Jamboree-on-the-Air, or JOTA, is the largest Scouting event in the world. JOTA uses amateur radio to link Scouts and hams around the world, around the nation, and in your own community.
