Membership/Offers/Benefits

Membership

Anyone desiring to become a member of the Amateur Radio Club of Augusta can do so by submitting an application and dues. Upon receipt of both you will automatically become a club member with all benefits and privileges. You do not have to have an Amateur Radio (HAM) License to join the club. You can find application and dues submission forms at the top of our Home page. It can all be done online. We hope you will consider becoming a part of this great hobby and  member of our club.

Rejoin ARCA

If you were a club member after 2015 and left the club, all you need to do to rejoin is submit your annual dues for this year ($25) and we will reactivate your membership once received. The easiest way is go to our Home page and use our PayPal Icon at the top. If you left us before 2015, along with your dues we will also need you to submit an application form for our membership database . Both documents can be found at the top of Home Page.

Club Membership Extension

If you are a current ARCA member (dues up to date) and you upgrade your license or obtain your first license, at any VE Team Licensing Session, you are eligible for a free one year extension of your current membership. Just present your CSCE or new license to any member of the  ARCA Board of directors for validation and your membership will be extended!

Non-Club Member Membership Offer

If you are not a member of the Amateur Radio club of Augusta and you successfully test at a CSRA VE Team Licensing Session (new or upgrade), you are eligible for a one year free membership in the ARCA. Just fill out a club application (available at the test site), have the Volunteer Examiner Liaison (person in charge) sign your application, and bring it to a club meeting to turn it. You will be granted a free one year membership.

Equipment Loan Policy

If you are a club member in good standing (dues up to date) and you would like to temporarily borrow a piece of club owned equipment listed in the asset inventory on our w4dv.club website, please contact a member of the Board of Directors to arrange the loan.
